Herman Cain

Re: Herman Cain. So, in response to a recession largely caused by malfeasance in the financial sector and the ballooning deficits caused by falling tax receipts (I noticed, Erin, how you keep subtly mentioning 40% of the deficit would naturally amortize with a return to traditional GDP growth and traditional taxation!), you want to make sure the people who have been the most damaged pay a regressive tax, which is much better, in your view, than reforming the current “progressive” structure. As they say in Germany, “Nein, Nein, Nein!” I get it, give the wealthy another tax break and make it up in volume (throw in unlimited toppings for the rich and some crazy bread [Michelle Bachman as VP] and you can’t miss.) Just because the other GOP candidates haven’t ripped this to shreds, don’t think Obama won‘t.
